Off to Newport

Well, Dad and I are off to Newport, Rhode Island for the final round of testing prior to the trip across the Atlantic. We will also need to review the list of any breakdowns or things to repair from the shakedown voyage.

    this was 2003. What happened?? Ever got going or did the boat sink due to all that electronic stuff on board…. ;-) Remember the saying : kiss! Hope you did set off tho.

    We did sail. In fact the whole journey can be read at http://blogs.salon.com/0001900 However, we’ve made a copy of the blog from that journey and are uploading it here (albeit slowly) and kind of reliving the journey ourselves. We’ll blog here the next trip …
